2. to make a trip, to tour, to wander, to travel; 3. to go about, to be apt to, to be in the habit of.

เที่ยวแรก (the first trip), เที่ยวหลัง (succeeding trips), ไปเที่ยวเล่น (to stroll for pleasure or sightseeing).

อย่าพยายามขนของไปหมดเที่ยวเดียว Don't carry every thing at a time.

เรือต้องไปเกาะสองเที่ยว The boat had to make two trips to the island. ผมไปอเมริกามาแล้วสองเที่ยว I have been to Amercia twice. เขาไปเที่ยวรอบโลกมาแล้วหลายครั้ง He has made several trips around the world (He has travelled (traveled) around the world many times). หลังจากรับประทานอาหารเย็นแล้วเราไปเดินเที่ยวกัน After dinner we went for a walk (a stroll). เขาเที่ยวทะเลาะวิวาทกับใครต่อใครไม่เลือกหน้า He is in the habit of quarelling (quareling) with all and sundry.
